We’re a rapidly growing London-based SaaS startup with a team of ten that has been running for a couple years and has recently started to make some really exciting progress.

We’re now looking to hire a number of new roles, to help support our growth and this is one of the most exciting - we’re looking for a Sales Executive, based in our London office, to help us grow our business both in the UK and abroad.

We’ve built a product we’re proud of and one that our early clients love (inc. Starbucks, Foxtons, Morrisons and Adidas) and we’re now ready to rapidly grow this list of clients!

Our current team has lots of tech experience, having worked in companies including Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and Tuenti and we have office space in both central London and Madrid, with an engineering team that often works remotely (however, we always all get together once a quarter).

Initially, your target clients will be many of the leading Retail, Hotel, Restaurant, Real Estate and Financial Services clients in the UK.

Our product

We are building a platform to help marketing teams bridge online and offline. We believe that the way people find and interact with real-world locations is different from just websites. We think advances in geotargeting and analytics in platforms like Google and Facebook, plus the digitalization of brick & mortar locations will increasingly create new ways to reach customers and enhance business value - but will at the same time bring complexity. We are here to simplify that complexity.

We raised money in 'Q3 2017 from top-tier angel investors in order to scale up the company, continue adding larger clients and expand internationally. We’re revenue-generating and our current clients include brands like Starbucks, Morrisons and Foxtons. We have been part of Wayra and SeedRocket accelerators, were awarded a KPMG Shift100 Marketing Tech and are a Google Premier Partner.

Your role

We’re on a mission to make Localistico the most popular local marketing and ads platform for brands and agencies, globally!

You will play a key role in making this a reality - your focus will be building the prospect funnel for the UK and closing deals with signed contracts. You will be responsible for both directly reaching out to target customers and working with our partners for intros. Our target customers are typically Marketing Directors or Digital Marketing Managers and Agencies for brands that operate a collection of brick&mortar stores (typically with 50+ locations).

As their primary Sales contact you’ll need to: understand their issues, assess our product fit to their business needs, support them through the buying process, ensure deals get closed, manage the handover to our Customer Success team, meet target KPIs and quotas and be available for for ongoing comms with clients when required, among other things.

We’re looking for intelligent, personable people that convey passion about their work and are motivated by results. You will be a confident presenter, demonstrate outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), be a natural story teller, able to think on your feet and ultimately enjoy meeting new people and building your network in the fast-paced London technology space.

Specifically, we’re looking for:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills: More than just being articulate, you can flex your style and tailor your approach depending on who you’re talking to.

Ability to learn fast and teach others: We work in a ever-changing environment and our current style of sales is consultative. You’re able to quickly grasp local marketing concepts and models and relate them to client needs.

Excellent organisation, project management and time management: You’re able to organise yourself and work efficiently and effectively in a collaborative manner. There is a huge amount to do and a big market to capture! You’re able to think on your feet in order to unblock unforeseen issues that arise in the sales process.

Ability to understand client goals and objectives: You actively listen and understand client needs and will be able to articulate the benefits of using our products to meet these needs.

Ambition: We have big plans for the business and want you to be motivated by the vision and share in the future success.

Having worked in software, SaaS or digital marketing sales in the past would be good for extra brownie points, but is not mandatory.
